Capturing Lauren & Will’s wedding at the stunning Say I Do – Islington Town Hall was a truly special experience, especially as it was my first solo wedding as a wedding videographer. Working alongside the talented Radski Photo , I had the privilege of capturing their day at this elegant and intimate setting.

Capturing Special Wedding Moments at Islington Town Hall

After their heartfelt ceremony, we took advantage of the Town Hall’s stunning interiors for post ceremony shots. The marble hallways provided a timeless backdrop for romantic shots, while the staircase outside was the perfect setting for the iconic confetti throw, a must have moment in any wedding film.

A Picture Perfect London Wedding Celebration

Following the ceremony, Lauren & Will continued their celebrations at a charming London bar. But before they left, they had group photos in front of a retro cream Routemaster wedding bus . A stunning vintage touch that added character to their wedding film. With guests waving from the windows as the newlyweds had some beautiful photos captured was a joyful moment, it was the perfect way to end their wedding story before they set off on their next big adventure together.

A little bit about me

Hey! I’m the Jack In Captured By Jack, a wedding videographer Based in Ware, Hertfordshire. I’ve always been drawn to capturing moments, whether it’s through travel, concerts, or everyday life. When I’m not filming weddings, you’ll probably find me planning my next trip, watching Marvel films, or reminiscing about past trips through my own videos.

My Journey Into Wedding Videography

My love of films got me interested in videography. From the weird & mysterious Donnie Darko, to the suspense scenes of Scream (The original of course!) & fun adventure films like Star Wars. I asked for a camera & started filming anything I could, making silly videos & cinematic films of walking through the fields near my house.

My love for videography started with travel, I started capturing my trips like family holidays & a big trip to Thailand & Singapore really inspired me, using an iPhone & a GoPro I realised that it’s not about the camera you have, it’s about how you use it to tell a story. Originally, I had plans to do Camp America, but Covid had other ideas. I captured a family wedding and quickly realized how much I loved capturing the real & emotional moments of weddings. This led me to editing weddings for an experienced videographer, where I fell in love with the process. Creating films that allow couples to relive their day, again & again.

My Style

Every wedding is unique & my goal is to create films that feel personal & cinematic. I love using slow motion as it creates a dreamlike effect, as if you are watching it back in your memory, invoking nostalgia. But I also like balance this with key moments from heartfelt speeches which ground the film in reality.

For me, wedding videography isn’t just about filming a day, it’s about capturing emotions & crafting a story through editing to create a film that will last a lifetime.
